Went for breakfast with a group today, food was not good. Waitress seemed new so I'llgive her some slack.
I want to thank the kind girl who wrote on my chicken noodle soup that she hope's I feel better! Best service and best food around! Never had a better matzo ball soup then at Rubins!

Update: went back for lunch recently and we're shocked how much it cost for 2 lunch sandwiches. One chicken salad and one tuna. I think it's all the things you charge extra for like cheese and such. We will stick to breakfast at this place. 35 B4 top is just too high for lunch sandwiches. Best french toast I've ever had My husband had a omelet and he made sure to tell the server it was the best omelet he has ever had.. really glad to find another breakfast spot close to home since there's not a lot of choices when you live off the beaten path
Stopped by today (St. Patrick's Day) they were pretty busy but got food quickly. Steak was cooked perfect. Our sandwiches were delicious as well.
I don't know why the place was dead at 11 am on Sunday. I personally enjoy low class greasy breakfast The water had a cloudy film at the bottom.
